The Muse TV Shopping Haul

Dear Readers,

So as my more regular readers will know, I've recently interned at TheMuse.TV. While I was there I did a whole range of various tasks including journalism and media production (which is pretty much my entire inspiration to drag my blog up and work at it)

:D <----Very happy about it.

BUT one thing that I know you all love areeeeee....shopping hauls!!
Therefore I've posted the video that my colleagues and I made together during my stay. Enjoy!

Love From,
The Muse TV Team

P.S. I'm actually still publishing with The Muse TV so keep posted on their website up top and stay tuned for my posts right here!

Street Style: The Fashion Student Louis

Louis
19
Studies Fashion at Camberwell
Simply by looking at Louis, it is evident that he has a love for leather, as many of us do. He is styling a classic 50s rock look which is very on-trend right now. To break up the black he has paired this leather with a grey print t-shirt and white plimpsoles which steers away from that temtation of back to black. A print t-shirt is always interesting and can add some colour to a simple style. The pink in this t-shirt is quite bold and compliments the black nicely. However, if you are not too keen on the colour black you can always wear blue jeans instead which will work in the same manner and with a similar effect. The bomber jacket is always a public favourite, perhaps not right now as we acend into the summer season, but it certainly is a wardrobe necessity.

Street Style: The Classic International

International Student
Loves: Classic cuts and colours
This student has not made an outlandish attempt to get himself noticed within fashion. Simply by dressing in utilitarian and comfortable clothes, he has created his own style that most likely makes him feel at his best. The sandy desert yellow really contrasts against that deep blue denim. There is a beautiful balance with colour which is very simple to achievable just by comparing different combinations. The casual and slightly rock 'n' roll influenced style can be combined with any old jeans and shirt, it is said never wear denim with denim, but who is to say you cannot play around with the colour of it. The main thing is to have fun with what you wear, and sometimes comfort really is important, especially when being studious.

Street Style: The Colourful Sarah & Sophie

Sarah Dautzen (Left) & Sophie O'Donoghue (Right)
Students
Sarah: Visiting from Suffolk, Sophie: Visiting from Africa
Both Love: Bright colours, coloured jeans
Brightly coloured jeans have been in fashion for a while and do come back around every now and then. However, it has been a while since I last saw a pair of psychedelic jeans and it is certainly great to see them coming back onto the fashion scene once more. This photo also reflects how trends have been traveling internationally, right across to Africa, where Sophie has travelled from. These best friends and their technicolour jeans have been inspired by the neology of modern day life. It can be quite hard to match brightly coloured jeans appropriately with the right top, cardigan or even bag. When in doubt stay plain! There is nothing worse than too many colours so simply go for a plain white or black top or a simply striped tee, as Sarah is wearing. For the brave hearted, such as Sophie, you can try and match the colour of your jeans with one of those in a top, but keep the design simple still, you definitely do not want to over do it! From personal experience, I understand the feeling of a colour overload.

Street Style: The Cool and Casual Phoebe Taylor

Phoebe Taylor
15
Student
Loves: Vintage shops, Topshop, retro styles
Phoebe is caught sporting the classic high waisted denim shorts with an on trend crop-top tee. The dark smokey colours reflect a grunge and rock look which is very fashionable at the moment. this style can always be matched with leggings or tights for those who would prefer not show their legs. A bold pair of shoes or boots can really set off and complete a rock chick style such as this.
